2012 – Top 100 hotels in Europe
Chateau Mcely was voted again for the third time amongst the top 100 best hotels in Europe by the German travel magazine Geo Saison, which is one of the most important magazines specializing in travel.
2012 – Grand Restaurant
The Chateau's Piano Nobile restaurant has been awarded with a prestigious prize for the second time. Our restaurant ranked among the 10 best Czech restaurants in the "TOP 10 Absolute" category, annually announced by Maurer's Grand Restaurant guide 2012. Grand Restaurant awards of the top 100 restaurants in Czech Republic.
2012 – Luxury Spa Awards 2012
Chateau Mcely has been nominated in the prestigious Luxury Spa Awards 2012 for the Best Luxury Destination Spa for our Mcely Spa natural spa concept, and our very own Mcely Bouquet cosmetics range. 2011 – Europe's Leading Green Resort
Chateau Mcely has followed-up on its 2008 success during which it received an "Oscar" in the tourism industry and won in the Green Hotels category. Chateau Mcely has won in the prestigious World Travel Awards 2011 in the category Europe's Leading Green Resort.
2011 – Grand Restaurant
Chateau Piano Nobile restaurant has been awarded with a prestigious prize. Our restaurant ranked among 10 best Czech restaurants in "TOP 10 Absolute" category, annually announced by Maurer's Grand Restaurant guide 2011. Grand Restaurant awards the top 100 restaurants in Czech Republic.
2009 – Green Manager of the Year
Managing Director Ing. Vlastimil Plch, who has managed Chateau Mcely from the very beginning, received the "Green Manager of the Year" award from the Association of Hotels and Restaurants of the Czech Republic for his exemplary approach to hotel management and ecology.
2009 – Best Experiential Photograph
Chateau Mcely is the holder of the "Best Experiential Photograph" award from the Small Luxury Hotels of the World network. It won amidst enormous international competition from more than 70 countries and 480 hotels of the SLH network.
2008 – World´s Leading Green Hotel
Chateau Mcely gained the World Travel Awards 2008 "Oscar" in the travel industry, in the green hotel category and thus became "The World's Leading Green Hotel."
2007 – Green hotel
Chateau Mcely became the only five-star "green" and "eco chic" hotel in the Czech Republic and the second in the whole of Europe with the highest certificate from the European Union.
2006 – Best of Realty
Chateau Mcely gained the highest award in the prestigious “Best of Realty 2006” competition in the hotel category for the sensitive reconstruction of the ruined chateau.
