Mad about malts? (whisky that is) So are we! We have an extensive selection of single malts and the best blends at our bar.

Never heard of Czech Wines? You are in for a bit of a surprise! We also feature an extensive international selection of course.

Our concoctions include those staples from the alchymist's grimoire: “The Elixir of Life”, “Love Potion No. 9”, “Philosopher´s Potion”, and “Phlogiston Tonic. ”

We are also collectors of rare alchemical books and scientific instruments, many of which are on display in the Studiolo..

The Alchymist Club is the only place indoors at the Chateau where smoking is permitted. And of course we offer a superb selection of cigars to complement your whisky or after dinner needs.

The Alchymist Club...     Enchanting elixirs

 

Alchymist

n : one versed in the practice of alchymy, who seeks the philosopher’s stone as a means to: formulate an elixir of life, transmute base metals into gold, and uncover the meaning of life.

Alchymy

1: a medieval chemical science and speculative philosophy aiming to achieve the transmutation of the base metals into gold, the discovery of a universal cure for disease, and the discovery of a means of indefinitely prolonging life.
2: a power or process of transforming something common into something special.
3: an inexplicable or mysterious transmutation.

Need we say more? The philosophy of our Chateau is perfectly reflected in the transmutation of our 17th century cellar into 21st century mystery.

Our alchymist is on duty for as long as it takes to make you “golden” (adj. lustrous, radiant) and prolong your longevity.

And just so you know it's not a typo, we use the medieval spelling of 'alchemy' - just seems appropriate!
