The Restaurant... Fine Dining in the Plate Hall
"There is no sincerer love than the love of food."
-George Bernard Shaw
The Plate Hall is so called because the walls are lined with oversized ceramic plates designed by Oto Blaha. Here you will experience our elegant dining and relaxing atmosphere calculated to maximise your enjoyment of our fresh local and organic fare and superb range of wines.
The cuisine is international and traditional Bohemian; with a house specialty in game dishes. Menus change daily, giving you a wide variety during your stay. We cater also for vegetarians!
The restaurant (including the Salon du Thé) has a capacity of 50 diners, however for larger or private dining we can utilise other rooms in the Chateau.
If you have special requirements, you have but to ask and we will cater. With advance notice we can prepare some very special dishes - whole roasted pig or boar, outdoor barbeque, wedding banquets and more.
- Breakfast is traditional cooked or continental with plates of fresh fruits and juices (and coffee the way we like it - strong and aromatic!). Please let us know the night before if you require different times. For a small additional charge we will be delighted to serve breakfast to your room.
We have an extensive international and Czech wine list.
"Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what you want and let the food fight it out inside."
-Mark Twain
