When we set out designing the telecommunciations for the Chateau we had a simple test: build it the way we would want it. As (travelling!) Internet users and developers for many years, we have a pretty good idea of what this looks like.

• Wireless LAN blankets most of the public areas of the Chateau and surrounding grounds. If your laptop doesn't have a WiFi network, we may be able to provide you with one, or help you to get connected. For you techies, this is an 802-11g (55MPs) WLAN, unencrypted.
• Each room and certain strategic locations around the castle has wired (RJ45) connectivity connecting to our 100MB hub.
• We also have PCs on the net which you can have access to in case you didn't bring your own
• Teleconferencing available for global distance connections. Contact us for rates.

Again for those technically inclined, you may appreciate that a broadband network in a location like Mcely is difficult -- and you would be correct! We have invested in point-to-point wireless WAN bringing a 2MBS connection with fairly low latency; unless you have brought your web server to the chateau you will have no issues with the net connection!

Of course all our rooms feature modern telephones, and reception from all Czech cellular networks is available.
