Driving from other locations     

Getting here from Kutná Hora, Kolín, Poděbrady

I. Variation 1

From Kutná Hora and Kolín, take direction to the Poděbrady. In front of Poděbrady you will come on the traffic circle, go straight, and follow sign to Nymburk – (Route 38)

You will go through villages Chvalovice and Kovanice. Then you will come to the Nymburk. Drive through the town square, still main direction on the Mladá Boleslav – (Route 38)  

You will pass village Všechlapy. Second village will be Krchleby. Here, in the middle of village, you will turn to the right – follow sign Loučeń. After 2 km you will go to the right in the Jíkev.  In village Jíkev turn left. Please go still straight in the Studce. On the beginning of Studce you will go to the right, follow sign Mcely.

As you enter the village of Mcely you will see ahead and up to your left, sticking out of the forest, the church of St. Wenceslas. This is actually about 100m from the chateau which you mind just get a glimpse of depending on the season. Follow the main road which bends to the left trough the village, pass this church on your right and than take hard right (signposted “Chateau Mcely”). You are here!!!

II. Variation 2

From Kutná Hora and Kolín, take direction to the Poděbrady. In front of Poděbrady you will come on the traffic circle, go straight, and follow sign to Nymburk – (Route 38)

Please go straight through to the Loučeň and than you will come in St. George forest. After 3,4 km from beginning of Loučeň turn to the right in the village Studce /see small sign/. Go into this village, and then turn left (signposted “Mcely”).

 Getting here from Hradec Králové

From Hradec Králové, see sign to the Prague and Poděbrady. Use route 11 and highway D11 to the Prague. Take Exit no.39 in Poděbrady “South”. You will come on the traffic circle, go straight, and follow sign to Nymburk – (Route 38)

Getting here from Liberec, Mladá Boleslav

From Mladá Boleslav, see sign to the Prague. Go on the highway R11 to the Prague. To exit 27 Benátky nad Jizerou (Route 272).

- Then same direction as from Prague!
